I celebrated my 40th Birthday this past year. A co-worker-who is in her late 20's- stated that I didn't look 40 or act 40 and noted that she meant both as a compliment. Of course, I promptly thanked her as is the courteous thing to do but then after a few moments of contemplation, I honestly replied: "...but this IS what 40 looks like and this IS how one who is 40 acts...at least this one!"
Happy Birthday to me; in body & mind...an official grown-up.
